When you are setting up a booth at a trade show, it’s essential to choose unique, eye-catching displays so that people want to stop to view your information. One way to make your booth stand out from the competition is by using photography and videography. These high-quality visuals are a great way to showcase your products, increase brand visibility, and connect with your audience at the same time.

Photos and Video for Eye-Catching Displays

One of the reasons why photos and videos are essential for your trade show booth is because they incorporate dynamic visuals to hopefully bring visitors to your table. You can share information and even show product demonstrations through the displays.

One option is to use large TVs that loop video content and/or photos that will attract people’s attention. When the immersive images are being shown on high-definition screens, it creates a beautiful sight that will draw people in.

Technology Makes Your Booth More Engaging

Consider other strategies that can be used to make your booth more engaging when people walk by. With technology, you can create an interactive experience for attendees. For example, capture testimonials and videos when people try your products, then these clips can be used as social proof.

You might set up a camera to capture live streaming demos. Or, ask booth visitors if they are willing to participate in short interviews that are shared through social media. When people are interacting with your products on camera, the footage is much more personable.

Prioritize Lighting and Quality Equipment

Never cut corners when you are choosing equipment and lighting for your trade show booth. Good lighting is critical, especially when you are taking photos and videos. The goal is to optimize the appearance of the people and products, while also reducing glare and reflection at the same time. You can show the colors optimally by finding a good balance between both natural and artificial lights.

Also, consider how the camera angles will make the products appear in the footage. Set up a tripod at the ideal angle, which also helps to reduce the risk of movement while the video is being filmed.

Always Test the Equipment Before the Show

Before you bring the electronics to a trade show, it’s smart to set up a test run. Pull out the tables to make sure they are stable enough to hold your TVs. Hook up the computers to the TVs to ensure proper streaming, color balances, and more. A little bit of preparation right now is very important to help you avoid problems on the day of the event.
